Bar Menu Comes To Twelve U.S. Cities

Book tour feels a bit like getting shot out of a canon. There is a ton of work behind-the-scenes for months and then a spark starts — annnd flash-bang-go. We have BAR MENU events lined up in 12 US cities (so far) — my biggest tour yet. I am thrilled that there is a combination of beloved spots I’ve visited before (Seattle, D.C., Dallas) as well as new cities. I’m excited to touch down for the first time (on tour) in Denver, Charleston, and more.

I hope to see you on tour — I pride myself on the fact that my events promise a little more than you might expect from a book event. Philadelphia’s kick off will feature 2 floors, 3 listening rooms, and live electric violin — plus food and drink from the book. The great Cochon in New Orleans is taking guests on a journey through Bar Menu. Strangeways in Dallas (named after a Smiths album) plans a music-heavy bash. In addition from some less traditional events and venues, this tour also touches down at some of the country’s greatest independent bookstores: Book Larder, Buxton, and Joseph-Beth are just a few of the big names involved — and don’t worry, we’ll have food & drink at these events, too.
