Hello and welcome to my booze-soaked newsletter! If you’ve found your way here through a search, share, or some other means but are not subscribed let’s get you signed up: click here!
Friends,
Where did August go? I returned from South America to plunge back into a project I could not talk about — until now!
I am excited to share that I have signed for the next book: BOOZE & VINYL COUNTRY.
That’s right, the greatest country music albums ever set to wax accompanied by an A-side and B-side cocktail.
This project has been bubbling behind-the-scenes for a while as it’s a subject people have brought up frequently while I’m on book tours. But also, country music seems to be having a major moment. So the answer to the Q: Have you thought about doing a country music book? Is - YES, and it is coming fall 2025!
Since publication in 2018, Booze & Vinyl has sold hundreds of thousands of copies and is available around the world. There is a Booze & Vinyl Vol. 2, the Booze & Vinyl Mix-and-Match Card Game, and, of course, last years’s A Booze & Vinyl Christmas. I am so thrilled that the joy of pairing cocktails and music continues.
I want to thank everyone who reads this newsletter for all the support over the past few years. Publishing is an ugly business and the support is so important. This is lucky book 13 for me, and I would not be able to do it without you. Especially, thank you for picking up a copy of A Booze & Vinyl Christmas - it’s on the strength of previous books that new projects get the green light.
I’ve been pretty quiet on social media, and this book is the reason why. I’ll see you more after I hand it in. There is one event on the calendar this month - I can’t pass up a conversation with Denise Kiernan in Asheville.
BOOK TOUR
Sunday, September 8 - I am returning to CRAFT in Asheville, NC, and in conversation with the inimitable NYT bestselling author Denise Kiernan talking about Forbidden Cocktails (at Little Jumbo).
THANK YOU FOR READING
Heel kicks!!! Right up my alley!
Congratulations on another book in the Booze and Vinyl series! Like the prior three, it will prove to be an amazing read with great photos. Looking forward to getting my copy asap. Cheers for Country!!!
